MSN Virus with MySpace Virus

MSN and Myspace are hottest tools online used by millions of teenagers in USA and Europe. MSN Virus in itself is a headache and very dangerously viral that it can spread from contact list to contact list on MSN very quickly.

A photo virus currently on the wild, prompts users to download a photo to their computer and many innocent victims tend to download these files thinking that it is a photo sent from one of their friends. This virus then latches to the victims computer and spreads itself virally using the victims friends list on messenger.

Remove cute.pif – W32.Kelvir.A MSN Messenger Virus

Like the previous types of viral spreading MSN viruses, this one also prompts the user to download a file and send a message to every on them contacts list. First step in the removal of W32.Kelvir.A Virus is by deleting the downloaded cute.pif file. Then proceed as follows to completly remove the virus: cute.pif – W32.Kelvir.A MSN Messenger Virus

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and look for hotkeysvc. If it’s there select it and press “End Task”.
2. Use the Windows Find feature to look for a file called “hotkeysvc.exe”. Which if their should be in the %System% directroy. If you find the file delete it.
3. Goto ‘Start’ then ‘Run’ and type ‘msconfig’. A new window should appear.
4. Click on the tab at the top right that says ‘Startup’.
5. Look for, and if it exists, unitick the box next to “hotkeysvc.exe” or simlar name.
